Mitch Bensel creates driftwood crosses from selected wood from the Falls of the Ohio State Park in Indiana Each cross either has a B burned into the back, a tag with Mitch Bensel on it or roman numerals and a B burned into it. Making them an authentic Bensel Cross. They are not numbered any longer.
Here is the very FIRST cross he made. He was told by a friend she had a dream he was to make crosses. He had never worked with wood before, yet slowly began to make what his friend said God wanted. He used broken down wood from a bunk bed. This was made over 12 years ago. Cross Number 1. He has made, given away and sold thousands.
